I dove into an exciting project for my Social Media for Sports Media class, creating a comprehensive social media plan for a fictional MLS soccer team set to launch in Columbia, South Carolina. From crafting engaging sample posts to designing potential merchandise, I explored every aspect of building a strong online presence. Identifying target audiences and selecting the best social media platforms were key steps in the process, ensuring the team's message would resonate effectively with fans. This hands-on experience has been invaluable in understanding the dynamics of sports media and social engagement.

During my internship at Alison Brod Marketing + Communications, I had the exciting opportunity to create a potential launch party on the launch of Charlotte Tilbury's Magic Water Cream. I was tasked with creating a comprehensive presentation that included finding a collaboration partner and planning a launch party. We also identified key journalists and influencers to invite, ensuring the event would generate maximum buzz and media coverage. This experience sharpened my skills in event planning, influencer marketing, and strategic communication.

SIPA Convention PR Campaign

In my PR Campaigns class, I collaborated with a team of four to develop a campaign aimed at increasing attendance at the annual Southern Interscholastic Press Association (SIPA) convention. Over the semester, we crafted a comprehensive strategy that was ultimately adopted by SIPA. Our efforts paid off, as attendance in March significantly increased compared to previous years. This project provided practical experience in teamwork, strategic planning, and the tangible impact of effective public relations.

This document detailed the brand's history, mission, key products, and market positioning. In my PR Writing class, I completed a branding project where I chose Milk Makeup and created a PSA in collaboration with The Center, leveraging their existing partnership. This project involved developing a message that not only highlighted the brand's values but also supported The Center's mission. By aligning the PSA with an established partnership, I was able to create a compelling and authentic message that resonated with both Milk Makeup's audience and The Center's community. This experience refined my skills in strategic communication and partnership collaboration.
